How To Open an ARB Position on Market X

What You Need Before Starting

Step by Step Execution

Receive the ARB Signal

Wait for a signal from @PantherCoreSignals. It will tell you the exact coin, spot entry price, futures entry price, and expected yield. Example: ETH/USDT ARB — Buy Spot $1,674.00 · Short Futures $1,677.80 · Daily Yield +0.45%

Decide Your Capital Split

Divide your total capital equally. If you have $1,000 total: put $500 on spot and $500 on futures. If you have $500 total: put $250 on spot and $250 on futures. Both must be equal — this is what makes the hedge work.

Open Spot Position on Market X

Go to Market X → Spot trading → Find the pair (e.g. ETH/USDT) → Select "Limit" order type → Enter the spot price from the signal → Enter your amount (half your capital) → Click Buy. Your spot position is now open.

Open Futures Short on Market X

Go to Market X → Futures trading → Find the same pair (ETH/USDT perpetual) → Set leverage to 1x only → Select "Limit" order type → Select "Short" direction → Enter the futures price from the signal → Enter same $ amount as your spot → Click Short. Your futures hedge is now open.

Confirm Both Positions Are Open

Check your Market X positions panel. You should see: (1) ETH spot holding and (2) ETH perpetual short position of equal size. If both are showing — you are live and earning.

Wait for Funding Payments

Every 8 hours (00:00, 08:00, 16:00 UTC), funding is settled. Check your futures wallet balance after each settlement — it will have increased. Do nothing else. Just hold both positions.

Close on Our Signal

When we post a ❌ CLOSE signal for that pair — close both positions on Market X. Sell your spot holding and close your futures short. Collect your total accumulated yield. Wait for the next ARB signal.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Wrong leverage — Always 1x. If you accidentally set 2x, 5x or 10x, liquidation risk exists and the hedge is broken
❌ Unequal amounts — If spot is $600 and futures is $400, you have directional exposure of $200
❌ Different exchanges — Both legs must be on Market X. Using Binance for one side breaks price correlation
❌ Closing early — Never close before the CLOSE signal. Funding accumulates over time — patience is the strategy
